How can I help?
I Need A Pen Store is created for people looking for local pen stores. There are not that many of those and often, when browsing through fountain pen groups on social media, we see the questions ‘I’m travelling to country X or city Y and would like to know if there are any nice pen shops worth visiting’.
If you know of a nice store, anywhere in the world, which is not listed, or a manufacturer, you can send us the information, by selecting Add at the top of the screen and select radio button Visitor.
Or, especially convenient when travelling and you just found a gem that has to be added, send us a picture and some basic info via one of our media channels, as Whatsapp, Instagram, Facebook or Telegram.

I know of a company which is not listed?

Why is this company not listed?
There can be several reasons why a company is not listed.
First, and most important, we might not know of its existence. Please let us know when you know of a company that is not listed.
Another reason may be that the store is for only online and can’t be visited, or if the main focus is on other things than pens and or the pen offering is poor.
Search by location doesn’t work?
When you are looking for shops in a certain city, please select map layout (default it shows grid layout) and then enter the location in the box ‘Your location’.
Now it will show all shops within the search radius (by default 50km which is about 31 miles).
If a shop is not shown, it is likely not in our database. If you know of a shop which is there, please let us know so it can be added.
How can I find a store in a specific city or country?
When you are looking for a pen store in a certain area, you can search by location.
Simple go to Search by shop name
At Pen store near your area click grid layout and select map layout
Type a location in the text box
Select search radius (by default 50km / 31 miles)
Click search

My info is not listed what to do?
If you are currently not listed, and would like to be added, please go to the top of the screen and select add. There you have the options to add your information and select a plan (free or paid).
For manufacturers, select the categories you manufacture for and complete the information.
For shops, we will list only shops with physical locations that people can visit. As that is the whole idea behind this site, for tourist or non locals to find the special physical stores. If you’re a web only store, you will not be added.
Is it free?
Yes, adding the basic information is free.
We so also have plans at a small annual fee, with which you can add extra information, as logo, pictures, social media profiles. We offer these in order to pay for the development and the continued updating and hosting of the site.
Can I add info?
Yes you can add info.
If you have registered with new information, you can also create a login and password, so you can edit the information at any time. If your info is already added by someone else, please let us know what you would like to change and we’ll amend the information, or we can email you your personal login details.
I registered and chose a Paid version, but where do I add the extra info?
After you filled all the initial information, filled your email and chose password, you select one of the three plans and pay.
After that, you can login to the website, click your name and select My account.
There you can add all the additional content, like social media profiles, pictures etc. Based on the plan you chose for, the extra content will then be shown to all visitors.
